Rescue stories

Every bike arrives with a history and leaves with a future. These are the restorations we are proudest of, told one taped-up snapshot at a time.

Vader

Forever Home

1987 Suzuki GSX-R750 Hyper Endurancer

Full profile โ†’

Red came to us after three winters parked behind a self-storage unit, slowly forgotten. The carbs were gummed solid and the battery had long since given up, but the bones were honest. A FireBlade never really wants to sit still. After a full carb rebuild, fresh rubber, and a set of pipes that finally let her sing, Red is ready to chase apexes again. She is bold, a little dramatic, and absolutely worth it.

Day 1

Scared. Dirty. Forgotten.

Two flat tires and a dead battery.

Day 30

Stripped & cleaned up

Carbs out, tank flushed, frame degreased.

Day 75

New heart, fresh suspension

Rebuilt carbs, fork seals, fresh fluids.

Day 120

Looking better every day

New pipes, paint correction, dyno tuned.

Graduation day!

Forever home

Ready for new adventures

Cleared for adoption.

Blue

In Foster Care

1989 Suzuki GSX-R750

Full profile โ†’

Blue is a textbook Gixxer: eager, a touch high strung, and happiest at the top of the tach. The previous owner kept up with oil changes but skipped everything else, so we are working through fork seals, a chain and sprockets, and a long-overdue valve check. In foster care she is already perking up. She wants a rider who understands that a 750 is not a couch.

Day 1

Surrender intake

Tired chain, weeping fork seals.

Day 20

Health check

Compression test, fluids, brake rebuild.

Day 45

In foster care

New chain & sprockets, fork service.

Duke

Available

1994 Ducati 916

Full profile โ†’

Duke is the most glamorous resident we have ever taken in. A 916 carries itself like royalty and demands to be treated accordingly. The belts were ancient and the desmo valves needed attention, but underneath the dust was one of the prettiest motorcycles ever built. Fully serviced and singing again, Duke wants an experienced home that appreciates a little theater.

Day 1

Estate-sale intake

Decade of dust, ancient belts.

Day 40

Desmo service

Belts, valve clearances, fluids.

Day 90

Detailed & dialed

Polished, tuned, road tested.

Graduation day!

Forever home

Cleared for adoption

Looking for an experienced home.

Gixxer Jr.

Available

2001 Suzuki GSX-R600

Full profile โ†’

Gixxer Jr. is the most approachable bike in the kennel. A half-finished college project, she arrived in boxes and good intentions. We reassembled her properly, sorted the wiring, and gave her a clean bill of health. She is light, forgiving, and a wonderful match for a rider stepping up to their first real sportbike. Endlessly patient and ready to learn.

Day 1

Arrived in boxes

A project paused mid-rebuild.

Day 35

Reassembled & wired

Harness sorted, fluids, sync.

Day 70

Road ready

Inspected, tuned, test ridden.

Graduation day!

Forever home

Cleared for adoption

Great first sportbike.

Bandit

Forever Home

1999 Suzuki Bandit 1200

Full profile โ†’

Bandit was the easiest adoption we have ever done. An honest, do-everything standard that just needed tires, fluids, and a little faith. He found his forever garage with a first-time owner who sends us photos from every coffee run. This is exactly why we do it.

Day 1

Intake

Tired tires, otherwise honest.

Day 21

Tidied up

Tires, fluids, fresh battery.

Graduation day!

Forever home

Adopted!

Off to a happy first-time owner.
